The 2021 T600 is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cyl that's expected to produce up to 200-hp and 200 lb-ft of torque.

Zotye will release official power and torque figures soon. What's known is, engines of a similar configuration to the 1.6L that Zotye is offering produce close to the numbers I mentioned. Take for example the 1.6-liter turbo-four that Hyundai/Kia just refreshed for 2020. It produces 180-hp and 195 lb-ft of torque.

If that sound good to you, which is should, it gets even better when compared to a few of its direct rivals like the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5 and Toyota Rav4:
  • Honda CR-V: 2.4L Engine | 184-hp @ 6400 rpm | 180 lb-ft of torque @ 3900 rpm
  • Mazda CX-5: 2.5L Engine | 187-hp @ 6000 rpm | 186 lb-ft of torque @ 4000 rpm
  • Toyota Rav4: 2.5L Engine | 203-hp @ 6600 rpm | 184 lb-ft of torque @ 5000 rpm
Keep in mind Zotye will price the T600 about 20% lower than all of its rivals. ;)
